With its many branches, the District line looks like a candidate for longest line, but it's fourth behind the Central, Picadilly and Metropolitan. Upminster is as far east as you can go on the Underground though.
This windmill, built in 1803 was last operated in 1934 and subsequently fell into decay. It was restored and opened as a museum in 1967.
