Metropolitan Line
On a grey, drizzly Sunday morning we start at Kelvinbridge station, chosen for two reasons. It was the nearest to the hotel, and because going clockwise from here we'd finish on Byres Road, where there are a lot of good pubs.
Under the stairs leading up to the road is this squirrel and skull picture by Sam Bates, better known as prolific and well respected Glasgow street artist Smug.
The Subway was closed when we started, and it's closed again now. The drizzle that marked the start of the journey is back now - perfect timing. Thank you Glasgow!
