Piccadilly Line
The beginning of the end. We begin the final line at the northern end, an extension from Finsbury Park (our planned destination for the day) which opened in 1933.
Instead of taking the obvious route down Westpole Avenue, we headed north from Cockfosters instead and finally reached Oakwood via Trent Park.
Yet to be updated to reflect the official new name, this roundel on the platform out of Heathrow marks the end of the journey.
